Training Session Cancellation Policy:
Rutherford McKay Associates (RMA) has developed a cancellation policy that is designed to support Media Relations Units and Communication Branches in their efforts to provide media relations training and support to their clients.
To encourage participant commitment to training initiatives, for up to two business days before a course date a substitution may be made for anyone registered who is unable to attend. A participant may withdraw from a session, without penalty, up to five business days before its scheduled date. However, participants who withdraw after that time will be charged the full course fee based on the research and preparation that has been done on their behalf.
Urgent training requests (less than five days’ notice) demand that associates’ time be immediately reserved or rescheduled so that they can begin research and preparation. To avoid forfeiting the full cost of a cancelled urgent training request, a client must advise RMA no later than two business days before the agreed date/time of the session.
